Oreo Cookie Brownies (Brookies)

A mix between a brownie, cookie and Oreo, these brookies are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth for your chocolate cravings.

  • 9 x 13 baking pan

For Brownies

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
  • cups white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ cup unsweetened black cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • cups all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips

For Oreo Cookie Layer

  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup butter
  • 24 Oreos chopped into large pieces
  • 2 eggs
  • cups flour
  • cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt


For the brownies

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or use baking spray on the 9x13 inch pan.
  • Sift cocoa powder, flour and salt and set this aside.
  • In a large bowl, add melted butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Whisk until well combined.
  • Add the cocoa powder, flour and salt to the bowl and mix well.
  • Add the chocolate chips and mix everything until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into your baking pan and spread using a spatula.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.

For The Cookie Layer

  • Melt two thirds of the white chocolate chips and butter in the microwave in 30 second intervals until fully melted.
  • Whisk until fully combined and allow to cool.
  • Using a stand mixer or handheld mixer, beat your eggs until they're foamy. Add sugar and vanilla and combine.
  • Add the cooled white chocolate mixture and then add the flower and salt.
  • Fold the chopped Oreo cookies into the mixture.
  • Using a large spoom, drop chunks of the cookie mixture on top of the brownie layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cookie mixture is set.
  • Cool completely, cut and serve. Enjoy!
